This week, Ira spoke with Patrick Kilpatrick.
Actor, writer, director, and producer Patrick Kilpatrick is the author of the new book, “DYING FOR LIVING – Sins & Confessions of a Hollywood Villain & Libertine Patriot.”
In this 30-minute episode of Talk About Las Vegas, Kilpatrick talks about his new book; why writing is liberating because collaboration is not a part of the process; why he writes to pay homage to the gods of literature; the challenges of being a father and pursuing an acting career; and fascinating people he has worked with in the film industry, including Sean Connery and cinematographer and film director Janusz Kamiński
Kilpatrick’s entertainment career has spanned more than 170 films and television shows as lead actor, producer, screenwriter, director, and global entertainment teacher– from “Minority Report” with Tom Cruise to “Dark Angel” with Jessica Alba, from the largest production in Public Broadcasting history to the Los Angeles Theater Center with John Goodman and Academy Award-winning British director Tony Richardson in Shakespeare’s “Anthony and Cleopatra”. He has appeared in over 75 hit TV shows such as “24,” “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” and all “CSI.”
