Ira, your interview with Pete Barbutti had me laughing in stitches. Couldn’t stop laughing. He is one great comedian and I was so great to hear his stories about the Tonight Show. As a forever fan of Johnny Carson I was so pleased to hear that Pete eventually had such a good relationship with Johnny. And hearing the name Arthur Godfrey brought back some happy memories. Many thanks for providing me and all your listeners such wonderful laughs.
Ira’s knowledge of music and the music business in phenomenal. Really enjoyed the Brian Forsythe interview. Only wish that my wife and I could attend KIX’s show at The Club at the Cannery Casino this Saturday. It is sure to be a sell-out crowd for will enjoy a great show. It would be nice if one of the Beatles were among the audience! WOW
Add Ira’s interview with author Micheael Shnayerson who has written a top-notch short biography of the gangster Benjamin “Bugsy” Seigel who built the famous Flamingo Casino-Hotel. This is absolutely one of Ira’s must-listen-to podcasts. What a complex, fascinating, smart, yet psychopathic character Benjamin “Bugsy” Shiegel was.
Lee Lanier’s paintings are an extraordinary combination of art and computer graphics. Ira’s interview with Lee Lanier is fascinating. And leaves you wanting to visit Boulder City and his Dam Short Film Festival.
Mike Gets Around!
So much interesting information. And a great story from Geno. So much history with the Dunes.
This is a test comment

Thoroughly enjoyed Brian “Paco” Alvarez’s talking about Las Vegas and the arts. Couldn’t agree with him more. There is more to Vegas than casinos.
