This week, Ira Sternberg spoke with entertainer Frankie Scinta. In this 30-minute episode of Talk About Las Vegas, Scinta talks about the challenges of the coronavirus on Las Vegas entertainment; his new weekly show on Facebook that has generated thousands of views; the importance of family in life and performing; the future of entertainment in Las Vegas; and his new project that will take shape as a one-man show.
Scinta began performing at the age of 9 and instantly knew he wanted to spend his life on the stage. He formed The Scintas in Buffalo, New York, comprised of Frankie; his brother, Joey, younger sister, Chrissi ; and drummer Pete O’Donnell.
The Scintas moved to Las Vegas in 2000, performing at The Las Vegas Hilton. While at the Hilton, The Scintas quickly gained recognition because their show was ideally suited for Las Vegas. They were then signed to a long-term contract by The Rio.
Currently, Frankie Scinta performs in Las Vegas and around the country.
