This week, Ira Sternberg spoke with actor, producer, writer and director Tim Molyneux, performing in "Swoon, Croon, and Boom, The Songs of Love," at The Nevada Room, October 19 & 22. In this 30-minute episode of Talk About Las Vegas, Molyneux talks about his dream of becoming a producer in Las Vegas; creating Las Vegas’ first and only vampire show, “BITE”; why he is returning to singing; the importance of an intimate venue for performers; who he looked to as role models (the contrast between the two role models will surprise you!); and the importance of being vulnerable on stage and expressing who you are.
Tim Molyneux is an entertainer and entrepreneur. His performances and entertainment creations have taken him to more than 100 countries. His credits include writing, directing, and producing 23 original shows including Las Vegas’ first and only vampire show, “BITE”, that ran on the Las Vegas Strip 6 nights a week, 52 weeks a year for nearly 9 years.
In 2016, Molyneux began acting and writing for television and feature films. He’s been a Russian spy, British mercenary, Albanian Imam in “Coming To Terms” (Winner Award of Islamic Recognition) and a recurring humanistic android on HBO’s “West World.” In 2020, he was nominated for the Indie Short Fest Best Actor Award for his leading role in “The Body Of Levi.”
